Speciality Enclosures

Gilbert Electrical Systems manufactures Specialty Enclosures for High and Medium Voltage Applications. Our housings are different in that they are of all bolted construction, which means you can add, change or modify an existing housing and we use less than 11 gauge mild steel with the necessary angle and/or channel base frame.

Our enclosures include:

  • Transformer Enclosures
  • Junction Enclosures
  • Metering Enclosures 

Enclosures are rated Nema 3R equivalent, which protects interior components from rain and weather.

Electrical enclosures come in a variety of shapes and sizes. Gilbert Electrical Systems housings are different in that they are of all bolted construction, which means you can add, change or modify an existing housing.

Gilbert enclosures can even be built to customer spec but with such a wide range of sizes and options, finding a stocked number should be no problem.

NEMA 3R – Enclosures constructed for either indoor or outdoor use to provide a degree of protection to personnel against incidental contact with the enclosed equipment; to provide a degree of protection against falling dirt, rain, sleet, and snow; and that will be undamaged by the external formation of ice on the enclosure.
